NFL superstar Tom Brady is diving deeper into the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with the launch of his new NFT collection, titled 'Live Forever: The Tom Brady Origins Collection.' The collection, which is set to be released on Brady's NFT platform Autograph, focuses on highlighting the quarterback's early NFL days.

The new collection comprises 16,600 memorabilia pieces from Brady's early NFL days, and items related to his college career, NFL combine, and draft. The memorabilia pieces have been divided into five types of rarity: Carbon, Platinum, Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby.

Priority access for collectors on Autograph's platform will be given to early users and select community members on December 7, 2021, at 5 pm ET. Collectors who manage to gather five items of the same rarity by the 'Activation Deadline' will earn an Immortal Statue of that rarity.

In a playful twist, preseason pass holders on DraftKings can purchase a mystery container, which may contain items such as Brady's College Resume, Combine Stopwatch, Rookie Draft Card, Combine Jersey, and Combine Cleats. The mystery containers for preseason pass holders can provide a surprise element as their content is not specified in detail.

However, it's worth noting that the new NFT collection does not mention any surprise elements like the mystery containers for preseason pass holders. The collection will be available in the DraftKings marketplace, but the public drop date has not been specified yet, only mentioning that it will be after December 9.

Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen have shown their support towards the crypto-system by partnering with crypto exchange FTX in a long-term deal. The quarterback launched his NFT platform Autograph in April 2021, which has support from sports stars like Naomi Osaka, Wayne Gretzky, Tiger Woods, skateboarder Tony Hawk, and his Tampa Bay colleague Rob Gronkowski.

In a light-hearted moment, Brady joked about his concern that the NFT market was becoming oversaturated, stating his main concern was making sure his collection sold out faster than Gronk's.

The new NFT series will be available for unlocking from December 14, 2021, onwards. Collectors with Preseason Access Pass can start collecting on Dec. 7, 2021, while the public drop will be only open from Dec.9.
