Nosler's New Whitetail Country Ammo Offers Accuracy, Power, and AR Compatibility
Nosler has introduced the Whitetail Country line of ammunition, designed for both precision and quick, humane kills in hunting scenarios. The new range includes popular deer cartridges and features the innovative 338 ARC, which delivers impressive energy and compatibility with AR-15 platforms.
The Whitetail Country line offers a variety of cartridges, including 6.5 mm Creedmoor, .270 Win., 7 mm-08 Rem., and .30-30 Win. Nosler has also introduced the 338 ARC, which cycles reliably in AR-15s without gas system adjustments. This cartridge uses the same parent case as the 6 mm and 22 ARCs, ensuring compatibility with AR magazines. The 338 ARC's 307-grain Sub-X bullet delivers 1.5 times the energy of a standard .300 Blackout, making it an excellent choice for hunting.
In other news, Remington has expanded its Core-Lokt Tipped (CLT) projectile design into a dedicated line for lever-action rifles. The CLT Lever Gun debuted with a 180-grain load for 360 Buckhammer and will soon include options in .30-30 Win., .35 Rem., .45-70 Gov't., .444 Marlin, and .32 Win. Spl. The CLT Lever Gun features blunt-tipped projectiles safe for under-barrel tubular magazines.
The Nosler Whitetail Country line offers hunters a range of accurate and powerful ammunition for various deer cartridges, with the 338 ARC standing out for its energy and compatibility. Meanwhile, Remington's expansion of the Core-Lokt Tipped design into lever-action rifles provides hunters with more options for their classic firearms.
