Nvidia to Introduce 11 DGX Spark and Station Computers in Collaboration with Partners: Details Inside
Hot damn, Nvidia's shaking things up at Computex 2025! Instead of setting up shop on the main exhibition floor, they went rogue and hosted their own gala event at a nearby hotel, unveiling their AI-focused hardware smackdown.
The main event saw the unveiling of two devices: the DGX Spark, a pocket-sized powerhouse for AI developers, and the DGX Station, a heavy-hitting workstation-class system for pros. Both devices are packed with Nvidia's latest tech, including the new Grace Blackwell Superchip, an Arm-powered brainchild co-developed with MediaTek.
The DGX Spark delivers an impressive 1,000 TOPS of performance and ships with a Linux-based DGX OS, complete with Nvidia's formidable AI development suite. Top-tier players like Acer, Asus, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, and MSI jumped on board, each adding their unique spin to the Spark. But, since no internal teardowns were permitted during the event, it's hard to tell if these OEM versions have more under the hood than just cosmetic changes.
The DGX Station, aimed squarely at the pros, boasts a 72-core CPU and a monstrous 288GB of HBM3e GPU memory, making it no ordinary desktop. Like the Spark, it runs on DGX OS and supports Nvidia's whole AI development stack. It's worth noting that the DGX Station will only be available through OEMs, raising questions about the consistency in build quality and thermal performance, two crucial factors for those seeking the best workstation PC.
So, keep your eyes peeled for detailed reviews of these babies before you break the bank. And, if you're an AI-loving tech geek, make sure to sign up for our newsletter to stay on top of all the hot AI trends.
