Parapet Expands German Office, Adding 110 GWh of Solar Power
Parapet, a leading renewable energy company, is expanding its office in Germany due to the increasing demand for green energy projects and the market's receptiveness to innovative solutions. The expansion will result in three significant photovoltaic projects, generating over 110 GWh of clean electricity annually and reducing CO2 emissions by more than 33,600 tons per year.
Parapet's collaboration with Kreutzpointner Energy has already yielded impressive results, with over 1,200 MWp of photovoltaics installed across Europe. The latest projects, with a total installed capacity of 112 MWp, will benefit German companies in the energy and pension fund management sectors. These projects include a 40 MWp plant near Friedland, which has already been completed, and two more plants near Zahna and Listerfehrda, scheduled for completion by the end of 2025 with capacities of 41 MWp and 31 MWp respectively.
The projects will use 65,400 bifacial modules, covering an area of approximately 30 hectares. Upon completion, these projects will be connected to Germany's national grid, supporting the country's energy transition.
Parapet's expansion in Germany, in collaboration with Kreutzpointner Energy, demonstrates the company's commitment to driving the renewable energy sector forward. These projects will not only generate substantial amounts of clean electricity but also contribute significantly to Germany's CO2 emission reduction targets.
