Phronesis Security Welcomes Veteran Eric 'Pinky' Pinkerton as New Cyber Security Consultant
Phronesis Security has strengthened its team with the addition of Eric 'Pinky' Pinkerton as their new cybersecurity consultant and Director of NSW. Pinkerton, with over three decades of experience in IT, networking, and security architecture, brings a wealth of knowledge to the role.
Pinkerton's expertise lies in conducting tailored tabletop exercises to stress-test and enhance executive cybersecurity awareness and crisis management teams. Throughout his career, he has delivered security consulting engagements, incident response, and crisis management simulations for diverse industries, including government departments, healthcare institutions, banking, and telecommunications.
Previously serving as Chief Technology Officer at Wipro Technologies, Pinkerton now joins Phronesis Security from Sydney. He will serve as the 'Problem Solver in Chief', leveraging his extensive experience to help clients navigate complex cybersecurity challenges in innovative ways. Pinkerton is also an active speaker on the cybersecurity circuit, having presented at notable events such as AISA Cybercon and AusCert Conferences.
Elliot Dellys, Chief Realist (CEO) of Phronesis Security, expressed enthusiasm about Pinkerton's appointment, citing his extensive experience and success in the industry.
