Porsche Centralizes AGV Fleet Management with MHP FleetExecuter
Porsche has implemented a centralized control system for its fleet of 27 Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs) at its plant. The software, MHP FleetExecuter by Körber, manages lifts, gates, and other systems, enabling seamless navigation through high-speed doors and intersecting third-party systems. This cloud-based solution coordinates AGVs, carrying out up to 1,600 material transports daily over 750 metres.
The software, MHP FleetExecuter, provides centralized control regardless of the AGV's manufacturer, communication interface, or level of automation. It optimizes intralogistics efficiency by up to 20%. Porsche uses this cloud-based system to integrate AGVs into its plant's IT infrastructure. The vehicles navigate through various systems, including automatic gates, lifts, and high-speed doors, ensuring smooth material transport.
Porsche's implementation of MHP FleetExecuter by Körber has streamlined its AGV fleet management. The software's centralized control and integration capabilities have enhanced intralogistics efficiency, enabling up to 1,600 material transports daily. This move aligns with Porsche's commitment to advanced technology and optimized production processes.
