As for attachable accessories, you can still connect the optional Surface Slim Pen to the back of the Surface Pro, although neither of those boast a folding kickstand like the Surface Pro.
Specs-wise, the Surface Pro remains similar to its previous incarnations, but with a downgrade in ports (from Thunderbolt 4 to USB 3.2) and a change in display, which now features a 12-inch, 2196 x 1464-pixel LCD display, non-upgradeable from its predecessor. Other specs, such as storage options and RAM, remain the same.
I suspect many users will be willing to make the trade-off for the improved battery life that Arm-based processors offer, despite potential compatibility issues with older printers and video games. Microsoft doesn't seem to be offering many incentives in terms of interesting new software features to cater to any incompatibilities. Instead, we'll get generic AI features, like the long-awaited Recall feature, which helps you remember what you were doing but couldn't find, using snapshots of your desktop for reference.

If laptops are more your speed, the new Surface Laptop 13-inch may be the compact companion you've been waiting for. This device replaces the 13.8-inch Surface Laptop from last year and fits nicely alongside the 15-inch model. If Microsoft holds true to its claim that the 13-inch Surface Laptop boasts unparalleled battery life, it'll easily challenge for the best Windows laptop title.
