Real-time data simplified for UK startups through launch of Confluent for Startups Program

Confluent, a leader in event streaming, has recently announced the launch of its new program - "Confluent for Startups". This initiative aims to assist early-stage businesses that are in a pivotal stage (12-18 months) by providing them with a flexible and feature-rich data streaming solution.

According to Tim Graczewski, the Head of Confluent for Startups, the program makes real-time data easy for ambitious startups. It empowers them with the fully managed Confluent Cloud platform at a crucial stage, enabling them to deploy the power of Apache Kafka while maintaining speed and agility.

The program is open to startups across various sectors, including cybersecurity, fintech, crypto, and agritech. Enrolled startups will receive ongoing account management and technical support, as well as access to resources for building and scaling applications on Confluent Cloud.

Startups will also benefit from two hour-long sessions with specialist Kafka systems engineers to review their current data architecture. They will be able to learn Apache Kafka and Confluent with access to all Confluent self-paced and instructor-led training, and certification guidance.

Moreover, startups will be welcomed to the Confluent Community, where they can share experiences and receive help with infrastructure and business-related challenges. They will also have access to Confluent's technical office hours online drop-in sessions, answered by senior technical experts.

Carlos Roman, VP EMEA Commercial Sales, stated that the program empowers early-stage businesses across the UK to get their infrastructure right from the start. It bypasses the pain of in-house development or using less flexible alternatives with fewer features.

Specific startups from various sectors that have participated in the new Confluent program and are using free access to Confluent Cloud to leverage Apache Kafka's potential are not mentioned in the available search results. However, it is clear that the program is already in progress, with startups already beginning to take advantage of its benefits.

The program offers a risk-free, year-long access to advanced real-time data streaming on Confluent Cloud for UK's seed and A-round startups. It aims to help startups accelerate product and service development while reducing the in-house technical work.

In essence, Confluent Cloud is a fully-managed platform that allows startups to set their data in motion for building smart, real-time applications. With the Confluent for Startups program, startups can leverage the power of Apache Kafka to streamline their data management, enabling them to focus on what truly matters - growing their businesses.
