Redefining the Audio Experience: Unveiling the Beosystem 3000c by Bang & Olufsen
Danish audio brand Bang & Olufsen revives another iconic product from its golden age – the Beosystem 3000c. First introduced as the Beogram 3000 turntable in 1985, this renowned music system is receiving a meticulous makeover, featuring contemporary Beolab 8 stereo speakers in a coordinated artisan walnut finish.
Limited to just 100 individually numbered sets, the Beosystem 3000c seamlessly merges the traditional ritual of vinyl playback with modern listening habits, offering a unique and tactile experience that harmonizes the warmth of analog sound with the convenience of streaming technology.
This update is part of Bang & Olufsen's Recreated Classics series, a program dedicated to giving iconic products a new lease on life. The brand sources and buys back used versions of the products before restoring, re-engineering, and re-imagining them, as reflected in the Beosystem 3000c's hand-crafted walnut and anodized aluminum design.
The Beogram 3000c retains its original design intent, refined through modern craftsmanship. The precision-machined solid walnut back cover, new aluminum control panel, dust lid, fabric cables, and future-ready pickup cartridge showcase the seamless blend of past and present. The original aluminum components have been meticulously remanufactured and finished in pearl-blasted and brushed treatments at Bang & Olufsen's Factory 5, creating a timeless yet modern look.

A pair of Beolab 8 stereo speakers matches the turntable's craftsmanship, featuring walnut lamellas and pearl-blasted aluminum shells. These speakers offer deep, dynamic sound, catering to both vinyl enthusiasts and those streaming their favorite playlists.
The Beosystem 3000c is available exclusively from select Bang & Olufsen stores and the Bang & Olufsen website, priced around $30,000 USD. The limited edition set will be available from 27th May 2025, making it an exclusive collectible for audiophiles and lovers of high-end design.
Mads Kogsgaard Hansen, head of product circularity and portfolio planning at Bang & Olufsen, remarks, "Through our Recreated Classics series, we honor the cultural impact of vinyl listening while showcasing the long-lasting value of Bang & Olufsen products, even beyond their first lifecycle." He adds, "The Beosystem 3000c invites our customers to rediscover their vinyl collections and enjoy the emotional richness of music as it was meant to be heard, while effortlessly integrating into how we listen today."
