Reduced pricing for High Performance Computing (HPC) unveiled by Allego in the Netherlands
Allego, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, has announced a series of initiatives aimed at making long-distance travel more convenient for EV drivers.
The company's ultra-fast charging stations operate at 150 kilowatts or higher, enabling significantly quicker charging times. Compatible vehicles can add hundreds of kilometers of range in under 20 minutes, making long-distance travel more efficient.
To further entice EV drivers, Allego is offering the Summer Pass 2025. This limited-time offer provides access to Allego's extensive fast and ultra-fast charging network across Europe. The Summer Pass offers an exclusive 30% discount on local ad-hoc prices, offering significant savings for EV drivers travelling this summer.
Allego's charging solutions are agnostic of charging hardware, vehicle model, or network affiliation, ensuring compatibility for a wide range of EVs. The company prides itself on providing sustainable, independent, reliable, and safe charging solutions.
In addition, Allego uses 100% renewable energy for its charging solutions, aligning with its commitment to environmental sustainability.
The UK sets specific standards for charging infrastructure that CPOs must meet. Meanwhile, Tritium, another charging solutions provider, has revealed insights about what CPOs in the UK are looking for and how to deliver it.
On a separate note, Laura Gonçalves, the director general of Powerdot España, has been appointed as the new president of the Asociación de Operadores de Recarga Ultrarrápida (AORU) in Spain. Gonçalves assumed the position on September 8th.
In another development, EMT Madrid is presenting its first autonomous bus pilot in the Casa de Campo. This marks a significant step forward in the integration of autonomous vehicles into public transport systems.
Lastly, Allego has also announced a reduction in the high-power charging price in the Netherlands. Starting July 1, the new high-power charging rate will be 0.79 euros per kWh, a decrease from the current rate of 0.864 euros per kWh. This reduction is aimed at providing relief to both consumers and businesses in the Netherlands.
These initiatives demonstrate Allego's commitment to making electric mobility more accessible and convenient for drivers across Europe.
