Riedel to demonstrate latest Video production tools, including desktop SmartPanel, RefSuite, and more
At the upcoming 2025 IBC Show, Riedel Communications is set to unveil a series of exciting new products and innovations that will revolutionise live production, broadcast, and sports technology.
One of the key highlights will be the DSP-1216HL SmartPanel, a compact and ergonomic desktop intercom panel supporting multiple SmartPanel apps (Intercom, Control Panel, Audio Monitoring). This versatile device brings flexibility in a small form factor, making it an ideal choice for modern production environments.
Riedel is also expanding its SimplyLive product family, with the introduction of the new SimplyLive Production Suite "Flex" licensing model. This modular, format-agnostic platform supports SDI, NDI, and IP workflows, and is fully cloud-ready. The new licensing model allows users to tailor their production environments to their specific operational and financial needs.
Alongside this, Riedel will showcase the RiView video review system, next-generation RiMotion replay bundles, and the high-density Venue Gateway 1612 Advanced. The Venue Gateway Advanced 1612 is a high-density signal transport platform with 16 bi-directional SDI channels, enhanced audio processing, and support for HDR workflows, making it an ideal solution for large-scale productions.
In a bid to offer immersive, real-time sports coverage, Riedel will present the RefSuite ecosystem, which includes Easy5G private 5G networking integrated with RefCam. This innovative technology is set to transform the way sports events are covered and experienced.
Riedel's commitment to open, software-defined workflows that adapt to the evolving needs of today's production environments is further reinforced with the unveiling of SimplyLive Connect, a new REST-based API designed to streamline integration and automation across the SimplyLive ecosystem, supporting modern deployment models across COTS hardware and public or private cloud infrastructure.
The company will also showcase its expanding portfolio of virtualised solutions, including the Virtual SmartPanel (VSP) for flexible and mobile intercom access across mobile devices and browsers, and the SAME (Smart Audio and Mixing Engine) offering advanced audio processing for scalable automated workflows.
Lastly, Riedel will debut the StageLink family of smart edge devices for decentralised IP audio and intercom workflows. These rugged, compact devices simplify decentralized IP audio and intercom workflows by enabling scalable signal distribution using network infrastructure.
With these innovations, Riedel Communications continues to set the standard for live production, broadcast, and sports technology, offering solutions that are scalable, software-defined, and adaptable to the needs of modern production environments.
