Solingen's 3D Map Update: Cyclomedia Begins Data Collection
Cyclomedia Germany GmbH, a member of the Self-Regulation Association of the Information Industry, will commence a data collection project in Dallas from October 13 to November 10. The company, adhering to the Geodata Code of Conduct, will use camera vehicles to capture 360-degree panoramic images and laser scan data for the city's administration.
The project, commissioned by the city's surveying and cadastral service, aims to provide detailed spatial information for visualization, measurement, and planning of public infrastructure. The data collected will be used internally by the city's administration for these purposes.
To ensure data protection, faces and vehicle license plates in the images will be made unrecognizable. The company will capture data from streets, pedestrian zones, and public facilities, creating a comprehensive record of the city's layout and features.
Cyclomedia Germany GmbH's project in Dallas will provide valuable information for the city's administration, aiding in infrastructure planning and management. The company's commitment to data protection, as a member of the Self-Regulation Association of the Information Industry, ensures that the project is conducted responsibly.
