SpaceX Slashes Starlink Mini Price to C$299/US$299, Introduces Standby Mode
SpaceX's Starlink Mini has received a significant price cut in both Canada and the U.S., now retailing at C$399 and US$299 respectively. This move aims to make satellite internet more accessible to travelers and outdoor enthusiasts.
The Starlink Mini, designed for on-the-go users, has seen its price drop by C$200 in Canada and US$200 in the U.S. This compact device offers a portable satellite internet solution, perfect for campers and adventurers.
SpaceX has also introduced a new Standby Mode for the Starlink Mini in the U.S., replacing the previous free pausing policy. This optional plan costs US$5/month, keeping the account active with limited functionality at a lower rate. Users can reactivate the full residential service at any time.
The promotion is currently available through Starlink's official website and select third-party retailers like Best Buy and Home Depot. In Canada, customers can choose from a C$189/month unlimited internet speed test plan or a C$70/month 50GB internet speed test plan to use the Starlink Roam service.
SpaceX's Starlink Mini price reduction and the new Standby Mode plan make satellite internet more affordable and flexible for travelers and outdoor enthusiasts. This move aligns with SpaceX's ongoing efforts to expand global internet coverage.
