Sunwoda Unveils SunESS: High-Efficiency, Flexible Home Energy Storage System
Sunwoda Energy has launched SunESS, a modular all-in-one energy storage system designed for households and small businesses. The SunESS Power system, developed by Sun-Grow, offers high efficiency and flexibility, along with a comprehensive 10-year warranty.
SunESS Power boasts impressive performance metrics. It achieves a power density of 192.3 W/dm3 and energy density of 105 Wh/dm3, with a maximum efficiency of 97.4% or higher. The system operates in a wide temperature range, from -20°C to hot summer conditions, and is IP65 rated for dust and water resistance.
Each SunESS Power module operates independently, ensuring uninterrupted performance even if a module fails. The system is 40% thinner than comparable storage units near me, making it ideal for urban spaces with limited room. It uses inverters with outputs ranging from 5-15 kW, with the option to operate two in parallel for a combined 30 kW.
SunESS Power combines hybrid inverters with lithium-iron-phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries in various configurations. It can store up to 40 kWh in total, with each battery unit having a capacity of 5 kWh. The system allows mixing of new and old battery modules with different states of charge and health without the need for calibration. Additionally, it integrates a module-level intelligent energy optimizer, boosting voltage from 51 V to 350-450 V.
SunESS Power, with its high efficiency, wide operability, and flexible storage capabilities, is set to make a significant impact in the residential and small business energy storage market. Backed by Sunwoda Energy's 10-year warranty, the system offers peace of mind to users looking to store and manage their power more effectively.
