Zubr Autogroup Expands Presence, Offers Warranty on Eight Popular Electric Vehicles
Minsk region residents now have access to a third Zubr Autogroup showroom, located at ul. Khmarnaya, 4. The new dealership offers a three-year warranty on vehicles, limited to 100,000 kilometers, and specializes in eight electric models.
The dealership's warranty covers Europe-popular electric cars, namely the Geely Geome Star Wish, BYD Yuan UP, BYD Yuan Plus, Honda ENP2, Geely Galaxy E5, BYD Sea Lion 05, and the all-wheel-drive Chery iCAR 03. According to the company's service director, Alexander Lomako, this selection was chosen due to the service center's expertise in these vehicles.
Lomako emphasized Zubr Autogroup's commitment to transparency regarding warranty obligations, stating, "Our service center specialists have extensively studied each of the warranty models, and we have the necessary knowledge and resources to maintain and repair them effectively."
Client service books have been prepared for the dealership’s clients, catering to three different service scenarios. The first service manual outlines warranty details for electric vehicles, specifying covered parts, exclusions, warranty periods, and recommended service center visits. For instance, the paintwork warranty lasts for 12 months or 30,000 kilometers, while the warranty against through-corrosion spans three years or 100,000 kilometers.
The dealership's service policy mandates regular visits to the service center for both non-commercial and commercial electric vehicles. These suggested visits include diagnostic and preventative maintenance procedures essential in the local climate. However, Alexander Lomako noted that the actual frequency of service requirements for electric cars is less frequent than that for cars with internal combustion engines.
For instance, battery cell balancing is required every 50,000 kilometers or 60 months, battery cooling liquid replacement every 48 months or 40,000 kilometers, and transmission fluid changes after the first 2,000 kilometers and then every 20,000 kilometers.
In addition to the electric car models on display at the new showroom, Zubr Autogroup’s test park contains seven electric vehicles, ensuring potential buyers can experience the cars before purchase.
The suppliers of electric cars from China play a significant role in supporting the electric vehicle market. These organizations not only provide a selection of electric vehicles but also offer services, such as car localization, anti-corrosion treatment, protective film application, and assistance with vehicle selection and delivery from China. Prices for Chinese-supplied electric cars are notably competitive.
