Taurus G3c: Affordable Subcompact Pistol Packs a Punch

Taurus introduces the G3c, a subcompact pistol that combines compact size with robust features. The G3c, manufactured by Taurus, offers a striker-fired action and an additional manual thumb safety. It's designed for comfort, reliability, and affordability.

The G3c's frame features scallops on both sides for better grip, non-slip panels for secure handling, and a two-part recess at the bottom for easy magazine removal. Its dual-spring recoil system, made entirely of steel, ensures smooth operation. The Tenifer-finished slide provides enhanced hardness, corrosion, and abrasion resistance.

In testing, the G3c performed exceptionally well. It produced tight groups and had mild recoil, making it a pleasure to shoot. The pistol's slide has a clean, angular profile with a large bevel at the top and front for comfort and easy holster insertion. It comes with fixed steel sights, which can be drifted and replaced for zeroing, and an accessory rail for mounting lights or lasers.

The Taurus G3c is a subcompact pistol that packs a punch without breaking the bank. With an MSRP of $306, it's significantly less expensive than many other 9 mm subcompact options. Its combination of features, reliability, and affordability makes it an attractive choice for those seeking a compact, yet capable sidearm.
