The Model 3 Performance now boasts an impressive estimated range of 571 km (WLTP), a 43 km increase from its previous iteration. Meanwhile, the Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive now offers 716 km, up from 678 km with 18-inch wheels. The rear-wheel-drive Model 3 also sees an improvement, with an estimated 520 km range, up from 513 km with 19-inch wheels. The Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive now offers an even more impressive 750 km range, up from 702 km with standard 18-inch wheels.
The Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive also sees an increase, with an estimated WLTP range of 629 km, up from 586 km. These improvements are thanks to Tesla's development of improved battery packs with increased cell density.
In response to customer feedback, Tesla is reintroducing a physical turn signal lever in the Model 3, described as 'precisely manufactured' for easy operation. Additionally, the Model 3 will have a new front camera with integrated washing and heating elements to prevent fogging or icing.
Despite these updates, the prices of the Tesla Model 3 remain stable. The improved ranges and reinstated turn signal lever are expected to enhance the driving experience for customers. These updates demonstrate Tesla's commitment to customer feedback and continuous improvement.
