Tesla Relaunches Referral Program in Canada, Offering Discounts on Model Y, Cybertruck, and More
Tesla has recently re-launched its referral program in Canada, offering customers the opportunity to save money on their purchases and potentially earn up to $13,000 CAD in referral rewards.
As of November 26, 2024, the Tesla referral program will include the Tesla Model Y and the Cybertruck, in addition to the Model S, Model X, Model 3, and Model Y. Customers can save $2,600 CAD when they buy a new Tesla using a friend's referral code.
The Model Y RWD is priced at $53,990 CAD, and with the $5,000 iZEV rebate available in Canada, the total obligation for the Model Y with 1.99% APR financing, excluding taxes and fees, is $48,879.60 CAD. Monthly payments for 60 months with a $7,500 down payment and 1.99% APR are $814.66 CAD.
Alternatively, financing at 3.99% APR over 96 months results in monthly payments of $566.46 CAD with the same down payment. The cost of borrowing at 1.99% APR is $2,389.60 CAD, while the cost of borrowing at 3.99% APR is $7,890.16 CAD.
The Canadian Tesla referral program allows customers to earn up to $13,000 CAD for each referral that results in a Tesla purchase. The referred buyer will receive a $2,600 CAD discount on their purchase.
Tesla's referral program was also recently relaunched in the United States. The promotional rates are subject to credit approval and may change at any time.
