Tieline Launches Bridge-IT II & XTRA II Codecs for Robust IP Broadcast Solutions
Tieline has started shipping their Bridge-IT II and Bridge-IT XTRA II codecs, offering robust and affordable IP codec solutions for various broadcast applications. Both codecs support multi-unicasting and multicasting, reducing the need for additional codec equipment. They feature dual internal power supplies, dual AoIP ports, and dual Ethernet ports for redundancy. Each codec supports two full-duplex mono connections or full-duplex stereo, with multiple Ethernet and AoIP ports. They operate as edge network devices and media converters, integrating into AoIP infrastructure.
The Bridge-IT II and Bridge-IT XTRA II support native AES67, ST2110-30, ST2022-7, Livewire+, Ravenna, AMWA NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 protocols. They offer smart features like SmartStream Plus redundant streaming, Fuse-IP data aggregation, automated failover, and SNMP. For STL applications, they provide auto failover to another connection, HTTP stream, or audio file playback. Both codecs have a user-friendly front panel with an OLED screen and keypad for easy navigation.
Tieline's Bridge-IT II and Bridge-IT XTRA II codecs, now shipping, provide reliable and versatile IP codec solutions. With their extensive protocol support, redundancy features, and ease of use, these codecs cater to a wide range of broadcast applications.
