Introducing a fresh, free skin for Star Lord that surpasses their previous attempts, or at least, it's more engaging (struggling to top the iconic OG Thor from the ongoing seasonal event).
This new freebie can be yours by partaking in Marvel Rivals' enticing Fortune and Colors event. This event, remarkably similar to Rocket League, Lucioball, and Clash of the Dancing Lions, tasks players with scoring goals to gather currency for a mini battle pass. Sounds simple enough, right? Let's dive into the details.
- Master the Mode:Master the Clash of the Dancing Lions mode, featuring three characters: Black Widow, Star Lord, and Iron Fist. Each character boasts unique abilities to swipe the ball from opponents. Star Lord can fly, Black Widow can sprint, while Iron Fist triple jumps to try and score goals. The first to reach 10 victories emerges victorious.
- Complete Event Missions:During the event duration, keep an eye out for special missions that reward you with Danquin Paint currency. Easier missions merit 40 Danquin, while more challenging ones bestow 100.
- Earning Danquin Beyond the Mode:Contrary to popular belief, Danquin isn't exclusive to the Clash of the Dancing Lions mode. By completing season 1 challenges, you'll reap 25+ Danquin for each completed challenge. Over the span of a few days, this accumulates to an additional 75+ Danquin.
- Paint the Pass:Once you've amassed sufficient Danquin, navigate to the event battle pass and apply it to the illustration. Reach the required amount of Danquin to paint a new section of the mural, progressing through the pass. The coveted Lion's Mane Star Lord skin is the sixth item, followed by a gallery card.
Acquiring this skin is less taxing than the classic Thor skin, which demands significantly more challenges and resources. The Lion's Mane Star Lord skin is more akin to the limited-time Jeff skin, which originated from its own event. Black Widow and Iron Fist lion skins are available for purchase, but they're not exactly budget-friendly, priced at 2800 for the bundle, 2200 for Iron Fist, or 1600 for Black Widow.
