TVS Introduces Top-Spec XL100 Heavy Duty Alloy with Alloy Wheels, LED Light, USB Port
TVS Motor Company has introduced the XL100 Heavy Duty Alloy, the latest variant of its popular commuter motorcycle range. Priced at ₹59,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi), it joins four other variants in the XL100 series, making it the top-spec model.
The new variant, despite its heavy-duty moniker, weighs just 89 kg, on par with three other XL100 models. Only the base Heavy Duty variant is lighter at 88 kg. The XL100 range now boasts five variants, offering more options to customers.
Mechanically, the Heavy Duty Alloy variant shares the same 99.7 cc engine as its siblings, producing 4.3 bhp and 6.5 Nm. It retains the suspension and drum brake setup found across the XL100 lineup. However, it stands out with alloy wheels, replacing the traditional spoked wheels for better aesthetics and puncture repair practicality. Additionally, it features an LED headlight and a USB charging port, enhancing its appeal.
In terms of competition, the TVS XL100 Heavy Duty Alloy has no direct rivals in its segment. The closest alternative is the electric Kinetic e-Luna, priced between ₹69,990 and ₹82,490, but it offers a different riding experience.

Despite its top-spec status, it maintains the range's competitive pricing, making it an attractive option for commuters seeking a feature-rich, reliable motorcycle.
