Two-Wheeler Sales Surge in September 2025, Led by EVs
Motorcycle enthusiasts rejoice! September 2025 saw a significant boost in two-wheeler sales, with a 12% increase to 541,064 units. This positive trend was driven by a 9% growth in motorcycle sales to 249,621 units and a remarkable 17% increase in scooter sales to 218,928 units. Salesforce also contributed to this growth, with an 8% increase to 31,266 units. Looking at the quarterly figures, TVS Motor Company achieved its highest ever sales of 15.07 Lakh units in Q2FY26. Exports also soared by 30% to 4.00 Lakh units during this period. This quarter saw a 22% increase in two-wheeler sales to 14.54 Lakh units and a 41% jump in three-wheeler sales to 0.53 Lakh units. In September alone, three-wheeler sales surged by 60% to 17,141 units. The two-wheeler industry is showing strong signs of recovery, with September 2025 marking a significant increase in sales across various segments. This positive trend is expected to continue, driven by growing demand for both conventional and electric two-wheelers.
