Unveiled prices and specifications for the forthcoming Australian debut of the 2025 Nissan Ariya, a compact crossover SUV.

The much-anticipated Nissan Ariya, an all-electric SUV, is set to make its debut in Australia in September 2025. Positioned competitively against rivals like the Kia EV5, the Ariya promises a blend of style, performance, and technology.

Battery Options and Driving Range

The Ariya comes equipped with a 63 kWh usable battery pack across all variants. The base single-motor 2WD (Engage) model offers a driving range of up to 385 km, while the higher-end dual-motor e-4ORCE AWD model delivers an impressive range of up to 487 km.

Drive and Performance

The entry-level Engage trim features a single electric motor powering the front wheels, producing 160 kW and 300 Nm. The Evolve e-4ORCE variant, on the other hand, offers an AWD dual-motor setup with a combined output of 320 kW (160 kW front + 160 kW rear) and 600 Nm torque, supporting up to 1,500 kg braked towing capacity. The AWD model accelerates from 0-100 km/h in approximately 5.6 seconds.

Technology and Interior

Standard across models are dual 12.3-inch screens (infotainment and driver display), wireless Apple CarPlay, and wired Android Auto. The base model includes a 6-speaker sound system, while higher trims feature a 10-speaker Bose audio system. The Engage comes with cloth upholstery, while the Evolve AWD boasts premium blue Nappa leather seats. Additional tech includes adaptive cruise control, a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror, wireless phone charger, satellite navigation, and dual-zone climate control.

Safety Features

Safety is a priority with the Ariya, featuring Nissan’s ProPilot driver assist system, predictive forward collision warning, forward emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane departure warning and prevention, blind spot warning and intervention, front and rear parking sensors, traffic sign recognition, rear seat and driver attention alerts, rear cross-traffic alert, backup collision intervention, tire pressure monitoring system, and more.

Pricing

The Ariya will be available in four trim levels: Engage, Advance, Advance+, and Evolve e-4ORCE. The Engage is the entry 2WD model, priced at $55,840, while the Evolve is the flagship AWD variant, priced at $71,840. The Advance and Advance+ serve as intermediate trims, priced at $59,840 and $63,840, respectively.
