At the event, both Chairman Akio Toyoda and President Koji Sato shared their reflections and vision for Toyota's future. Akio Toyoda, who recently transitioned from President to Chairman earlier in 2023, conveyed his commitment to passing on his experience and teachings to the new management team while focusing on maintaining Toyota’s core values and legacy.

Koji Sato, who succeeded Akio Toyoda as President and CEO in April 2023, articulated a clear vision to remain fundamentally "a car-building president." He emphasized protecting the intrinsic value of cars while responsibly advancing new forms of mobility, including electrification and hydrogen power.

Their interviews at the event reflected a blend of respect for Toyota's heritage under Toyoda’s leadership and strategic innovation under Sato’s direction, focusing on navigating technological shifts while maintaining Toyota's foundational commitment to quality and performance.
