Norton Rose Fulbright, a leading global law firm, has announced the launch of LX Studio, an innovation-centric US subsidiary. The new entity is designed to accelerate legal innovation and enhance service delivery, meeting clients' evolving expectations.
As Chief Client Value & Innovation Officer of Norton Rose Fulbright, Christy Bentz highlighted the importance of LX Studio in the firm's global innovation and service delivery program, NRF Transform. Bentz stated that LX Studio will provide a platform for more intentional collaboration with clients, helping to build, co-develop, and partner on personalized service solutions.
LX Studio is intended to be a client-centric initiative, focusing on meeting clients where they are, with a focus on the 'how' of legal service delivery. Bentz emphasized that the platform is designed to be flexible and adaptable, positioning Norton Rose Fulbright to adapt to changing legal service delivery expectations.
Gina Shishima, the Chief Strategy and Operations Partner, mentioned that LX Studio will allow the company to capitalize on its resources and innovative focus. Shishima also pointed out that LX Studio will bring new opportunities to offer new and different services to support clients.
LX Studio will collaborate with legal technology companies and alternative legal services providers, aiming to identify, develop, and invest in the best technology to help clients put it to use quickly and effectively. The subsidiary will house some of Norton Rose Fulbright's existing technology products, including the award-winning privacy compliance tool suite NT Analyzer.
Jeff Cody, the US Managing Partner, stated that LX Studio's focus is to provide innovative solutions for clients. Cody also mentioned that the subsidiary will develop products and services for use by the firm's lawyers and clients.
In a rapidly changing legal landscape, clients are seeking not only legal advice but also problem-solving capabilities. LX Studio is being built to provide more, offering a platform that focuses on collaborating with clients to provide personalized service solutions.
Christy Bentz also underscored that legal service delivery expectations continue to evolve, and LX Studio further positions Norton Rose Fulbright to adapt to these changes. With its focus on accelerating legal innovation, LX Studio is set to redefine legal services, making them more effective and efficient, particularly in areas like intellectual property, strategy, and risk management related to new technologies.
