Updated NVIDIA Application Introduces Global DLSS Override Support and Additional Features Within New Game Ready Driver for GeForce Graphics Cards

The technology giant, NVIDIA, has announced the release of the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver and a new update for the NVIDIA app. The update, available as of August 19th, 9am PT, brings a host of improvements and new features to enhance the gaming experience for users.

The new GeForce Game Ready Driver can be downloaded from the Drivers tab of the NVIDIA app or directly from GeForce.com. This driver addresses previously-reported issues, and a comprehensive list of fixes can be found here.

One of the key features of this update is the ability to activate DLSS overrides for every compatible game on a system at once with a global toggle. The status of DLSS overrides can now be seen in-game on the Alt+R statistics overlay.

The new NVIDIA app beta update also brings several improvements. A streamlined NVIDIA Surround setup screen has been added, and top requested 3D settings have been brought over from the NVIDIA Control Panel. Users can download the new NVIDIA app beta update by opting into beta and experimental feature Early Access in Settings > About.

In addition, NVIDIA Smooth Motion is now available for GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs. Project G-Assist, previously available only for select GeForce RTX GPUs, is now available for all GeForce RTX GPUs with 6GB or more of VRAM, including laptops.
