Upgraded audio quality promised by Orange's second iteration of 'O' Edition MKII headphones, omitting a distinctive design element
New Orange 'O' Edition MKII Wireless Headphones Launched
Orange has entered the headphone market once again with the release of their new 'O' Edition MKII wireless headphones. These headphones are positioned as rivals to the Austrian Audio Hi-X25BT headphones.
The 'O' Edition MKII headphones come with a sleek, more muted design compared to their MKI predecessors. They are wireless and active noise cancellation (ANC) enabled, offering connection options including Bluetooth 5.2 and a standard 3.5mm input.
The headphones feature a foldable design, an adjustable headband, and a case for easy portability. They boast a quick-charge feature that promises to deliver seven hours of use from a 15-minute top-up via USB-C. The battery performance is quoted as up to 50 hours of playback between charges.
The 'O' Edition MKII headphones are equipped with a three-preset active noise cancellation system, and the noise cancellation can be controlled via a physical button or the Orange Amps app. The app offers ANC personalization, a 10-band equalizer, and full control over frequency adjustments.
The right earcup of the headphones has touch-sensitive controls for playback, call handling, and volume adjustment. The ear cups are rotating and cushioned for added comfort. The headphones retain an engraving on the black plastic from the original model.
The 'O' Edition MKII headphones are available now for purchase, with prices varying depending on the region. In the US, they retail at $229, in the UK at £169, and in Australia at AU$351.10.
Orange claims the 'O' Edition MKII headphones deliver excellent dynamic range and high-quality sound. If you're in the market for a new pair of wireless headphones, these could be worth considering.
