Vianode Qualifies EV Battery Anode with Leading OEM
Vianode has successfully qualified its anode graphite product, Via ONE, with a leading OEM for use in electric vehicle (EV) batteries. The materials were produced at Vianode's full-scale Via ONE plant in Norway, which began operation in October 2024.
The qualification process, completed in October 2025, confirmed Vianode's industrial-scale production capabilities for the North American market. Although the specific OEM has not been publicly disclosed, the approval validates Vianode's product quality and consistency.
The Via ONE materials met stringent chemical requirements for first cycle efficiency, fast charge capabilities, and capacity. This achievement paves the way for Vianode to scale up production at its Via TWO plant.
Vianode's Via ONE anode graphite has been qualified by a leading OEM, demonstrating the company's industrial-scale production capabilities. This milestone clears the path for increased production at Via TWO, further solidifying Vianode's position in the EV battery supply chain.
