Production Schedule

The decision to shift production from Gigafactory Texas to Gigafactory Nevada occurred in late 2022 or early 2023, aligning with the revised timeline.
Equipment Installation
Equipment installation is underway at the Nevada factory. The stamping shop has been completed, and tools are being installed in both the Powder Coat and Material Conveyance shops. This indicates that the facility is nearing readiness for full-scale production. Equipment originally intended for Gigafactory Texas has been stored there since early 2023, awaiting relocation to the Nevada facility. This equipment includes parts that have been staged for about 20 months before being moved to Nevada.
Production Capacity
Once fully operational, the Nevada factory is expected to produce up to 50,000 Tesla Semis per year. This capacity is crucial for meeting the anticipated demand for the electric truck. While series production is yet to start, Tesla has already delivered a few units to early customers, such as PepsiCo and WattEV.
