Vietnam's Quang Trach II LNG Plant Seeks $1.04B EPC Bid
Vietnam's Quang Trach II LNG power plant is seeking international bids for its Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Package No. 08, worth VND26 trillion ($1.04 billion). The package is vital for the project's progress and includes a full survey, technical design, construction, test runs, and compulsory insurance.
Bidding documents demand audited financial statements for the past three years, along with extra documents for both domestic and foreign bidders. The plant, set to begin construction by the end of 2023, will feature an LNG berth and storage tank to ensure a stable power supply for the northern region. The first turbine is expected to generate power in late 2028.
No public information reveals which companies have registered for the bidding process, which remains open until November 7.
The successful bidder for EPC Package No. 08 will play a crucial role in the development of the Quang Trach II power plant, contributing to Vietnam's stable power supply.
