Reflecting on 75 Years of Southwest Fair: 100,000 Visitors Expected

This year marks the fair's 75th anniversary, with site manager Tobias Ertl hyping up numerous special attractions. The number 75 has special significance – from reduced admission prices to themed activities. The first sales exhibition took place in 1948 on the outskirts of Schwenningen, known back then as "Southwest presents."

The fair has been a popular draw since its inception, and it still holds that appeal today. With an anticipated 100,000 visitors, this year's fair is set to be another success story, making it the second largest consumer fair in Baden-Württemberg after the Mannheim Maimarkt.
