Web interface of Google now offers AI-driven search experiences

Google has recently unveiled an updated version of its AI Mode, offering a more memorable yet less obvious URL for access. Now, users can directly visit google.com/ai to experience the AI Mode.

The revamped AI Mode comes with a host of new features, including Search Live video and Canvas. Users can also expect exclusive stories, reviews, and how-tos from the article. To stay updated on the latest developments, it's recommended to subscribe to the YouTube channel.

For those who prefer using the desktop, the Omnibox can be utilised to access AI Mode, provided the query is appropriate. Google has also expanded AI Mode to 180 countries, making it accessible to a wider audience.

In terms of navigation, the AI Mode button in the Android and iOS app now appears as a 2x1 button underneath the Search field. The design of this button has reverted to a look that has been in place for years with voice search and Lens.

The Android and iOS app also features shortcuts for Search Live and gallery (Google Lens) after AI Mode. The previous shortcut for accessing the latest Google Search experience on desktop and mobile web was google.com/aimode, but this has been replaced with the direct google.com/ai URL.

The developer responsible for this change is Logan Kilpatrick, Group Product Manager at Google DeepMind, who leads product development for Google AI Studio. The article also provides links to Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn for further engagement.

It's worth noting that the author prefers using the "Search Google or type a URL" field on the desktop Chrome New Tab Page to access AI Mode. The author rarely uses the filter in the top-left corner of the Search results page.

Lastly, the article includes income earning auto affiliate links, a common practice in digital media. Users are encouraged to exercise discretion when clicking on these links.

For those using Android tablets, Google has finally brought AI Mode to your devices. Enjoy the enhanced search experience and discover the new features for yourself!
